Consciousness and Embodiment.

Dear reader, is your consciousness not embodied? Or, put another way–is not your experience of consciousness happening within your body?
Now if you concede yes to this and I believe you must then how is it so impossible to imagine consciousness embodied in other dimensions should such dimensions exist?
